One powerful afternoon and evening in Oakland where we stop chasing the next goal long enough to acknowledge what we’ve already built, celebrate the people who helped us build it, and leave with real collaborations for the year ahead.
Sunday, November 22, 2026 · 1:00–10:00 PM
Informal Spaces · 2044 Franklin St, Oakland
Every year seems to move faster than the last. We build businesses, support families, serve our communities, carry projects forward, and push through challenges. And yet when the year comes to a close, the first thoughts are rarely “Look how far I’ve come.” They’re “I should have done more. I’m behind. Everyone else seems further ahead.”
We go to networking events and leave with business cards and nothing else. We attend conferences, feel inspired for a week, and then go back to building alone. We know collaboration matters, but conversations rarely turn into real partnerships. And the cost adds up: burnout, isolation, and opportunities that could have happened if we’d just known who was in the room.
The problem isn’t that we don’t have enough. It’s that we’ve never paused to see what we already have, in ourselves and in each other.
Before Thanksgiving, All About The Bay and our community partners are creating space to do exactly that.
Before asking what more needs to be accomplished, we acknowledge what has already been accomplished.
Before focusing on what’s missing, we recognize what we already have.
Before continuing to build separately, we discover how we can thrive together.
This isn’t another networking mixer or a conference full of speeches. It’s a guided journey that moves people from recognition to real collaboration in a single day.
Close the year with clarity and confidence instead of “not enough”.
